Düz Cümleler

Cümle present ile başlarsa tense değiştirmeye gerek yoltur.

Örnek: Susan: "I work in an office." Susan says that she works in an office.

Cümle past tense ile başlarsa cümle bir tense pasta gider.

Example: Susan: "I work in an office." Susan said that she worked in an office.

Cümle de bir zaman zarfı varsa o da değişir.

Peter: "I worked in the garden yesterday."

Bazı durumlarda olay hala devam ediyorsa zaman değişikliğine gerek yoktur.
